Our Approach

We are Client Centered

We are Client Centered

Wealth is circumstantial. For some, it’s the ability to transition away from a paycheck. For others, it’s seeing every continent. The first step in understanding where we are headed is knowing where we want to go. A large focus of our initial planning is centered around the priorities and vision for your future. Creating a framework around what’s feasible, what’s possible, and what’s desired. That allows us to reverse engineer the financial side, encompassing taxation, investment strategy, and the overall plan. What we do today has the largest impact on what tomorrow can look like.

Our Process

While our planning process is 100% rooted in planning principles, how we get there is 100% flexible. First, we identify the destination... which for most households is still ‘up in the air’. As a result, we create frameworks that allow for multiple destinations. Second, we get a clear understanding of all variables that will drive the picture going forward (assets, incomes, debts, etc.). That allows us to begin to roadmap the path forward. By utilizing tax strategy, efficient investment design, and prioritization of vehicles to utilize, we narrow the scope to develop the plan into a now/next/later format. While we cover all bases, the finished product is precise with a clear path forward, knowing that the path will change.

Step 1: Discovery Meeting

This is the foundation of your journey. In this meeting:

Purpose: We'll introduce ourselves and outline the areas in which we specialize.

Goal: We'll get to know you, learn about your retirement dreams and financial goals, and share how we typically help our clients. This is about building a relationship and understanding your needs.

Step 2: Financial Snapshot & Projections

Here, we take a comprehensive look at your financial landscape:

Purpose: We’ll gather all your financial information onto one detailed summary page to fully assess where you stand today.

Goal: We'll explore your retirement projections, build a timeline, and discuss potential goals you'd like incorporated, such as travel plans, legacy aspirations, or healthcare considerations.

Step 3: Initial Recommendations

Your personalized plan begins to take shape:

Purpose: We’ll refine your retirement projections and provide clear, actionable recommendations.

Goal: Together, we’ll compare a “before and after” view—showing how your current approach stacks up against our proposed strategies.

Step 4: Implementation Planning

This is where action happens:

Purpose: We’ll finalize investment decisions and prepare for implementation.

Goal: Once everything looks good, we’ll help you open and transition new accounts as needed to align with your updated plan.

Step 5: Ongoing Support

Retirement planning doesn’t stop after implementation. We’re here to monitor progress and adjust as your needs evolve:

Purpose: Regular reviews to stay on top of your financial health.

Goal: As retirement approaches, we’ll offer reviews as often as quarterly—helping you stay confident and prepared, while meeting with you at least annually to keep everything on track.

Our Fees

Our Fees

We work with our clients to establish a fee structure that is suitable for their needs and in their best interest for their specific objectives in working with a planner. In the planning process, we will identify quantifiable areas that can create value both now and into the future, as well as the non-tangibles that, for most, end up being the cornerstone of the relationship. No fees are incurred during the initial consultative process, as it allows us to view the planning from a holistic point of view and provides the potential opportunity to better grasp the scope of our work.
